We leave Salento early and have two and a half hours until we reach Santa Rosa, first a bus from Salento to Pereira (1 hour), from there another one that takes us to Santa Rosa (30 minutes) and then a jeep that takes half an hour to the Hot Springs, since the bus just left and we have to wait two hours for the next one.
The Termales de Santa Rosa are spectacular thermal springs at the foot of waterfalls of up to 150 meters high. There are two complexes, one belonging to the Termales hotel (not suitable for all pockets) and the other to the Spa. The enclave is spectacular but if what you are looking for are thermal baths in nature this is not the best option, the Termales de San Vicente do, or so they say, since we did not have the opportunity to verify it. They are two hours by jeep from Santa Rosa.

The resort is very good and with the entrance you get a voucher redeemable for food or drink.

Back on the bus to Pereira, we had a little mishap, as an individual sat next to one of us and with the excuse that we opened the window he jumped on top of our backpack and managed to open the nearest zipper to steal. Fortunately, everything was a scare because a friend from Cali noticed it from the first moment and warned us. The driver stopped the bus and closed the door, when it became clear that the guy could not take anything, our friend's son kicked him out of the bus. Once at the station they informed the police of the incident.
It is the only mishap we have had on the whole trip, but it is no excuse for not visiting this wonderful country.
