We woke up in the quiet village of Naxi, today it is clearer although the clouds cover the nearby peaks. We make our way back to the entrance of the park and go to the road to wait for a bus to take us to our next destination, Lijiang.

We arrive to the north bus station but we don't realize it since there is nothing written in English and in the station they don't understand us, so we take an unnecessary intercity bus to get to our hostel. We are on the other side of the city and after several turns, we look for a taxi to get us closer... One of the most common problems we have encountered is the difficulty to understand each other, the percentage of Chinese who speak English is very small and even having the names written in Chinese is complicated.
Once at the hostel Mama Naxi we met our friends and had a few beers. In the afternoon we go to the walled area and take a walk.

Lijiang has an old town of more than 800 years with cobblestone streets, streams, bridges and Naxi style houses, full of canals. This small and remote town is located at 2,500 mts of altitude in the center of a beautiful valley at the foot of the mountain range of the Jade Dragon Snowy Mountain (Yulong Xueshan) (up to almost 5,600 mts).
