We have breakfast in the room and take the 7:10 bus to Dali.

The bus leaves us on the road near the old town. We look for accommodation and decide on a Chinese hostel with a huge courtyard to which all the rooms give out, Lucky Day, run by a very friendly couple.
Dali is a beautiful city located on the shore of Er Hai Lake.
We decided to visit the Buddhist complex of the Three Pagodas, which is a little far from the centre and we took a bus. They are known as the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple and are one of the oldest constructions that we can see in this area of the country, originating from the 10th and 9th centuries.
Three Pagodas
The entrance is a bit expensive, and often "students" come offering their discounts in exchange for a commission, we did not trust them and decided to buy them ourselves. A bit expensive.
