We leave Burgos at 2.30 a.m., taxi and bus to the airport. We arrive at T4 Adolfo Suárez Madrid Barajas Airport and take the free bus to get to T2. We fly with KLM. Our flight is direct.
We arrive at JFK International Airport in New York, the immigration lines are huge, it takes us almost an hour to pass the control.
Brooklyn
We stay at Nao's house, he lives in Williamsburg. To get there we take the train first and then the subway, we buy the MetroCard, which can be recharged, as it will be very useful for the rest of the days.
Williamsburg bridge
We take a walk through Williamsburg, a trendy neighborhood in Brooklyn with boutiques, cafes and restaurants, street art in residential avenues and renovated factories. The rent shockwave is causing people to move to neighborhoods further and further from Manhattan.
We reach the river near the Williamsburg Bridge, the views of the skyline are spectacular.
Manhattan
We had dinner in the inner courtyard of Union Pool, where they have food trucks, Diablo de Tacos with Mexican food, all very nice, the atmosphere is amazing.
