The old town is surrounded by a Spanish fort in very good condition, it is common to see pelicans on the coast. We wander around the streets aimlessly, it's worth spending the day and enjoying the charms of the city.

You can enjoy incredible colonial buildings with their wonderful patios. You can see the famous palenqueras willing to take a picture in exchange for a tip.We visit several churches like San Pedro Claver, the Cathedral, squares like Bolívar, Aduana, Los Coches, and the Clock Tower.

We have a beer in Donde Fidel, very special, don´t miss out.

We leave the wall in the direction of Getsemani, an area more decadent but even more charming than the area within the walls. We eat at the Coroncoro restaurant, a Colombian restaurant famous for its daily menu of excellent quality and price. It's full of locals and also tourists.

After lunch we go to the San Felipe de Barajas Castle, an imposing fortification built by the Spanish.

The temperature is pleasant. The sky is overcast and we will not go over 27 degrees without excessive humidity. In the area of Santa Marta, PNN Tayrona and Palomino it was much hotter and more humid.
