We're meeting Mati, to take us to Pandagbai to catch the speedboat to Gili Trawangan.
Pandagbai
When we arrive at the port the negotiation is hard, finally we get the tickets for 190.000 IDR with Perama Tours. There are several companies doing this route with different schedules, almost all of them leave between 8 and 10o at 13.30, as is our case. It takes between an hour and a half and two hours, so we recommend you to make yourself comfortable inside the cabin.
Gili Trawangan
We arrived at Gili Trawangan, the first thing we do is to look for accommodation, it is not easy to find economic accommodation without booking, we ask in the diving centres and the prices are affordable but they require you to take the diving course with them. In the end we decided on the Ozzy Cotagge, two double rooms with bathroom and access to a common courtyard ten meters from the beach.
We asked in several diving centers, we are thinking to take out the open water but first we want to make a baptism. Finally we meet a Spanish guy and go to his dive center for tomorrow.
Gili Trawangan village
We go for a walk around the village and it's funny because in the middle of a palm grove there is a rubbish dump, several people are in charge of burning the rubbish.

In Gili there are no land motor vehicles, you can move around by bike, on foot or if you feel like riding in a horse carriage.

We take a walk and visit the night market for dinner, everything is delicious.
