It's our last day in Rome and we don't get up too early. We have breakfast at Caffe Prati.

We take a walk around our neighbourhood, in a few hours we catch our flight back to Spain.

On the banks of the river Tiber there is a nice walk. We cross the Cavour Bridge to the Museum of the A'ra Pacis which yesterday displayed a collection of beautiful Versacce dresses. Inside is the altar that the Roman Senate had built to thank Emperor Augustus for the peace and prosperity that his reign had brought to Rome.

Nearby is the Borghese Palace, residence of the Borghese family, known as the harpsichord because of its curious trapezoidal floor plan.

In this area we recommend the restaurant Alfredo e Ada, a small restaurant serving traditional Roman cuisine. Be sure to try its spectacular artichokes.

Back to Piazza Cavour surrounded by the Court of Sorveglianza and the Supreme Court of Cassation.

Piazza Cavour has many bus connections, including one to Fiumicino Airport and Termini Station.
