Llanos de La Larri is perhaps one of the best known and simplest in the Pineta Valley. We suggest two options to visit it.

LLanos La Larri

LLanos La Larri

Option 1. Only Llanos La Larri

Option 2. Llanos La Larri and Cinca waterfall

Option 1

Only Llanos La Larri. Departure and return to the Pineta meadow. From the meadow we start heading north following the signs, crossing the bridge over the Cinca river and the dry riverbed of the Montaspro ravine to the right.

Continue up the river until you reach the meadow of La Larri, where you will see a spectacular valley with a spectacular waterfall. It is about two kilometres across the meadow to the foot of the waterfall, it is totally worth it. There are always horses and cows around and if you are attentive it is easy to see marmots.

On the way back, we undo the path through the meadow until we reach the shepherd's hut, continuing along a track on the left until we reach the signpost to the meadow. Descend through the beech forest for 1.5 kms until you reach the hermitage of the Vírgen de Pineta, located next to the Parador.

Option 2

Llanos La Larri and Cinca waterfall. Departure and return to the Pineta meadow. We leave the car park and follow the signs to ibón Marboré.

After crossing a metal bridge we take the path on the left that runs through a spectacular beech forest. After barely two kilometres we reach a crossroads that indicates the way to the Tormosa or Marboré lake, in our case we follow the second option because the first one is closed due to landslides and it is not indicated at what height..

We continue ascending until we reach an area of ferns where the forest opens up and suddenly the mist disappears and the spectacular Cinca waterfall appears before us with the Pineta cirque in the background, leaving us speechless. A marvellous sight.

We continued along the path to stand below the waterfall. No words.

Follow the path for a few metres until you reach the crossroads signposted to Montaspro Llano de La Larri. The path narrows a little and there is a chain crossing, but it is very easy. We continue through the forest until we reach the puete located at the beginning of the meadow of La Larri. We cross the meadow until we reach the waterfalls. Wonderful again.
