We left Burgos at mid-morning in our private car in the direction of Puebla de Sanabria, our goal being to sleep at the Cepo Verde campsite in the Natural Park of Montesihno.

In Puebla de Sanabria we take the road ZA 925 towards Portugal. We stop in Lobeznos, a small village in Zamora that preserves the traditional architecture of the area, stone houses with stairs and wooden galleries. Beautiful, a Galician memory invades us.

Bragança is a beautiful town in the north of Portugal, historical capital of the region of Tras-os-Montes. Although it is not very big, we had a hard time finding a parking place and we entered a parking lot.

On the way to Cidadela we get lost in the streets of the historical center where you can see craftsmanship already lost in Spain.

Near the Tower a Pelourinho or cruise on a granite pig. In Tras-os-Montes and in some regions of Spain you can find pigs carved in stone known as cress of Celtic origin whose purpose is unknown.

In Cidadela itself you can find the Domus Municipalis which is said to be the oldest town hall in Portugal with Romanesque civil architecture. Next to it is the Church of Santa Maria.
