We got up in no hurry. We have breakfast and then take a taxi to visit the Golden Mount (Pu Khao Thong) and its temple topped with a golden chedi el Wat Saket.

It is a sacred place of Buddhism in Thailand. You have to climb over three hundred steps to get there but the view and the site is really worth it.

Then we spent a few hours at the MBK Center doing some last minute shopping. Almost everything is imitations, some better than others.

Farewell beers in Khao San, we pick up the backpacks and go out to the main avenue to get a taxi, we ask you to put the meter.

It takes less time than expected to arrive and the taxi driver tells us that it is not worth the money he puts on the meter and that we have to pay him more. He doesn't want to go around and says that he is going to the police, we tell him to go if he wants to the police but we pay him for the meter, we leave him talking alone at the door of the airport, and we were going to give him a tip to spend the money we had left... worse for him.
