We have breakfast at 6.30 and leave in the 4x4 towards Bekopaka. The trip is long, about 8 hours.
Morondava
The worst thing was not the trip itself, the worst was the behavior of our new partner Antony. He arrived completely drunk and euphoric, we were not aware of the seriousness of his condition until suddenly in the middle of nowhere he made the driver stop, he spoke only with a lost look... in short a disaster. On the first ferry we were about to leave him on the ground but we felt sorry for him and we thought he would fall asleep and everything would be an anecdote. Actually as time went by it got worse, until we got to the last ferry and due to a misunderstanding about who was paying, he lost control and started laughing at us and disrespecting us.
We left him in Bekopaka and as we didn't want him to come the next day, the owner of the hostel Tanankoay helped us to make it clear to Sanson that he only spoke Malagasy.
Sanson didn't want to continue with him either so everything was arranged. We arranged to meet him the next day to enter the farthest part of the Park. Drinking is a big problem anywhere in the world but when the journey is hard you can't stand guys like this.
