In the Aragonese town of Castejón de Sos we live one of our most amazing experiences, paragliding.
Paragliding
It is one of the places with the best flying conditions in Spain where international competitions are held, it has even been called the "Mecca of paragliding in Spain".
Enjoy the experience of flying at more than 1000 metres above sea level in a tandem paraglider with breathtaking views of the main peaks of the Aragonese Pyrenees, Maladeta, Aneto and Posets.
Upper Liri
It doesn't matter if you have vertigo because you never have the sensation of falling, one of the instructors and a friend of ours suffered from vertigo and flew. All you need is comfortable, closed shoes and a lot of desire to enjoy yourself.
Upper Liri
Upper Liri
It is an incredible sensation as if you were on a giant swing, we did it with the company Parapente Pirineos, but any of the companies in the town like Tandem Team or Parapente Volar en Castejón offer you the possibility of a tandem flight.
Preparing equipment
Preparing equipment
The best conditions for flying, according to the instructors, are in the morning, at least for today. We drive up in a van to the top of Liri at an altitude of 1,350 metres. This is promising.
Watching the equipment being set up is very interesting, we are given a couple of basic rules for take-off and landing. The flight lasts between 25 and 30 minutes. There are several of us and we start to take off.

Flying
It's impressive, the views, the sensation, you're flying but you don't feel vertigo, it's amazing.
The instructor even let us take the controls and control the flight for a few minutes.

Landing
We make some capers, although this is a bit dizzying.
We land in a meadow about ten minutes walk from Castejón. Impressive, a totally recommendable experience.
