We pick up the laundry. We go to the subway and head to Central Park to the Dakota Building.

We take some bikes to ride around the park, it's huge, that's why they call it the New York lung. We start at Strawberry Fields, with a memorial in honor of John Lennon, in the middle of a grove a mosaic of tiles with the word "Imagine". There are a lot of people singing precisely that song, we join them, if you want you can leave a rose on the inscription.

We have just enough time, we could be walking around the Park for days, we visited Bethesda Terrace, the statue of Alice in Wonderland, Conservatory Garden, Belvedere Castle (although we didn't go in). We surrounded Lake Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir. A must.

We eat at an organic fast food restaurant, which is very good. We go to a dietetic herbalist's shop that Susi recommended, it is huge and has good prices.

Then we visited Lincoln Center, where the Metropolitan Opera House, the New York Philharmonic, the New York Ballet and other cultural centers are located. We loved the Opera House lobby.

We returned to Madison Square Park with 5, had a coffee at Eataly while waiting for Nao. He works in an advertising agency and we are lucky enough to have him show us around. There's a party at the Roof Top, music, food, drink and interesting people overlooking the Flatiron... what more could you ask for. We take pictures in the photo booth, a few laughs.

Lucas arrives and we go to the Empire State Building. Views from the 86th floor, the Crhysler, One World Trade Center, even the Statue of Liberty. We're super excited, we start remembering all the movies this building is a picture of. Absolutely essential.
