We go back to the supermarket and pick up the laundry. Today we visit the Upper East Side, it is a neighborhood of wealthy people, just look at the large mansions and brand name boutiques like Vera Wang or Prada. Lonely Planet offers a very interesting tour of movie locations in Manhattan.

We start with Bloomingdale's (Splash or Tootsie), then we go to Copacabana (One of ours), Central Park (Ghostbusters).
Temple Emanu-el
We make a stop to visit Temple Emanu-el, a synagogue, is one of the largest Jewish temples in the world. The rose window, the stained glass windows and the coffered ceiling are beautiful.
Interior Synagogue
We continue to look for John Malkovich's apartment (How to be John Malkovich), Midnight Cowboy's block of flats, Holly Golightly's apartment (Breakfast with Diamonds), JG Melon (Kramer vs. Kramer), Carlyle (Hannah and her sisters), to end up at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET).
JG Melon
This impressive museum is a must-see, you pay the will or as a donation indicates, I emphasize it because it does not seem to be very clear in the panel of fees, as it puts recommended donation $ 25, but it can be just a dollar. It's really worth it, that's huge, so it takes quite some time.
Interior MET
We are approaching the Guggenheim Museum, the building itself is a sculpture.

We take the subway and go back to eat in Madison Square Park, line up for a burger at the Shake Shack franchise, delicious.
Before 4pm we are queuing to enter the MoMA (Museum of Modern Art). On Friday afternoons it's free. In this museum you can enjoy wonders like Starry Night, Cambell Soup Cans or the Ladies of Avignon among other great works. Totally recommended. It also has a fantastic courtyard to take a break.

At nightfall we approach the Top of the Rock. We have previously booked the tickets online. At nightfall is when more people visit it but really worth it. 69 floors high and an impressive view of NY, Empire Sate, Chrisler, Central Park, One World Trade Center, and a million other buildings, you are speechless, another must.
