This is paradise, today we dedicate the whole day to relax.
Pool, beach, beer, pool, beach, we eat. By the way the food in this lodging is delicious, it is a little more expensive than in the village but it is worth it. Our beach is small but you can go snorkelling.
We arrive at six o'clock in the morning at the Bangkok bus station, take a taxi and from the airport we want to get to Surat Thani on the southern coast of the Gulf of Thailand to take a boat to the island of Ko Pha Ngan.
It's our last day in Chiang Mai, our friendships are recovering, we think the heat has taken its toll on the group.
Wat Chiang Man
Our friendship dawns better but today we have another casualty. Sonia and I are going to a cybercafé to take some flights from Bangkok to Surat Thani, in the south of the country, paradisiacal beaches are waiting for us.
Views of Chiang Mai
We get up, we ask again in the Julie but it is still full, we are not very convinced. We go out to the main street and the first one we see is the Diva. It is very good, the rooms are very colorful and are better priced than the JJ, although the bathrooms are in the terrace of the room.
We're going back to the Poo for breakfast. We meet the Barcelona couple. We rent motorcycles to visit the old city. The motorcycle of them has a deflated tire, thanks to the Thai diligence we have to leave them, we want to take bus that leaves to the three for Chiang Mai.
We get up early and take a bus to Sukhothai, it takes almost six hours that become endless. We take a tuk-tuk to get to our accommodation, the TR Guest House, here we meet again with the Valencian women and they tell us to take the bungalow, indeed it is a pass, absolutely recommended. In teak wood, with mosquito netting in a garden, beautiful.
We got up early, said goodbye to the Valencian women. Today we visit the Khao Yai National Park. We have a two-hour drive from Ayutthaya.
Khao Yai National Park
The sun is shining brightly and the accommodations don't look so bad to us anymore. We leave the hostel. We board a taxi to go to the Hua Lamphong train station in Bangkok the train leaves almost every hour, he puts the meter before we tell him anything. We buy the tickets to Ayutthaya.
